All cancellation and refund requests must be submitted in writing to continuingeducation@hss.edu.

Refunds will be granted according to the following schedule:

  • Requests received 14 days prior to the course start date will receive a full refund, less any applicable administrative fees.
  • Requests received within 7–13 days prior to the course start date may be eligible for a partial refund, at the discretion of the continuing education office.
  • No refunds will be issued for cancellations made on the day of the course or after the course has begun, except in rare and documented extenuating circumstances, which will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Hospital for Special Surgery reserves the right to deny refunds for participants who fail to attend the course.
